Principal's Message
Dear Parkside Families and Community,
It is with great excitement that I introduce myself as the new principal of Parkside Elementary. My name is Ms. Arlene Manville, and I am honored to join a school community that is known for its commitment to excellence, strong family partnerships, and cherished traditions.
As a proud native Floridian and dedicated educator with 27 years of experience in Broward County Public Schools, I bring a deep appreciation for our local community and a lifelong passion for student success. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of serving in various roles that have reinforced my belief in the power of collaboration between schools, families, and the community.
I am especially looking forward to continuing the rich traditions that make Parkside such a special place. It is clear that Parkside is more than just a school—it’s a family. I am committed to honoring that legacy while working together to create new opportunities for growth, achievement, and celebration.
This year’s theme is “Building the Dreams of Future Leaders.” Building on our success as an “A” rated school, we hope to engage with all of our stakeholders as we continue to strive to provide opportunities for our students to work up to their full academic and personal potential in a safe and nurturing environment. We are looking forward to putting this theme into action this year.
